ReplyDeleteI can't agree more with your points discussed in the podcast, supporting local brick and mortar hobby shops and less internet and more action! It is so easy to become entrenched watching vidoes, reading blogs, and yes even listening to podcasts! For me this hobby is about doing and building. It's about seeing a project from conception to completion and the satisfaction and pride of a job well done. I am also focusing more on train room time when I have free time, rather than computer or tablet time. Websites are great sources of information, but when the internet surfing itself becomes the hobby, something has to change.
